A lot of people ask me to recommend books they should read regarding paleo lifestyle, and which paleo cook books to get. The problem is, there are a lot of paleo titles to choose from, and not all of them are of equal quality. I’ve created a bookshelf out of the books have changed my life, and some of them I flick through in our kitchen on daily basis for inspiration and guidance. These titles have been handpicked through a process of trial and error during our paleo journey and I warmly recommend them to anyone and everyone interested in real food.

itsmorry asked: Thankyou for this website. It can be frustrating trying to find paleo/primal friendly products and restaurants in Australia (I'm in Melbourne) and it's great to have a guide up there with a specific Australian focus.
Let me know if I can help out with anything.
I’m very happy to hear that you’ve found my website helpful!
I hear you - I always feel so awkward trying to tweak a restaurant meal to a paleo friendly option. Le sigh. Maybe one day it’ll be a default on the menu ;)
In the meanwhile, if you’ve got some good tips on paleo friendly restaurant options in Melbourne, please share and I’ll put them up on the website!

I’ve taken on a new challenge and began fundamental sessions for CrossFit training this Monday. My fears have been confirmed: I am a weakling!
If you are interested in following my progress, I’m blogging my journey along with nutrition on my Paleo Australia website.

Website - I spent the weekend rejigging Paleo Australia and I’m very happy with the results… what do you think? I’ve also added new recipes and heaps more inspirational food photos!

I believe that eating real food doesn’t have to be boring or difficult - which is why I’ve embarked on this mission to create a well organised collection of paleo recipes and food inspiration with an Australian focus.
This is still very early days and this is entirely not-for-profit, so please bare with me while I migrate all the existing content over from this tumblr to http://paleoaustralia.com.
Why is Australian focus important to me?
While there are fabulous paleo online resources available, I find that they are most US focused and therefore back-to-front season and weather-wise; while I’m craving for warming soups, they’re posting the latest summer BBQ!
Also, a lot of the ingredients and products used on the US blogs are difficult - if not altogether impossible - to get one’s hands on in Australia.
By localising the US recipes posted by the likes of http://nomnompaleo.com/ and other fantastic paleo home cooks out there, I want to empower the Australian cavemen to fully enjoying one of the best decisions of their lives: going paleo.

I’ve finally set up a proper site for my paleo recipes and food inspiration. Let me know what you think!
Currently in the middle of migrating content over to the new website.
vickyliveslife-deactivated20110 asked: Oh. My. God.
I think I might be drooling on my keyboard right now.
Everything looks so yummy! Definitely given me some great ideas for primal-style eating.
Thank you!

Glad to hear Vicki and you’re very welcome!
I’m just in the process of creating a more organised and polished site for this same purpose. I’ll keep you posted.
